Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
